Sara Smith, MS, LMFT

Sara is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children, teens, and young adults. With a deep understanding of the unique social and mental health challenges young people face today, she creates a supportive environment where every client can feel truly understood and empowered.

Sara’s expertise spans a wide range of needs, including anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, and social navigation. She is particularly passionate about providing specialized, neuro-affirming care for individuals with ADHD and Autism, helping them leverage their strengths while developing practical tools for daily life.

What sets Sara apart is her uniquely comprehensive academic background. She holds:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

  • Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy

  • Master of Science in Behavior Analysis (Emphasis in Autism)

This rare combination of clinical insight, relational depth, and behavioral expertise ensures that her support is not just empathetic, but deeply personalized and highly effective. Whether in an individual or group therapy setting, Sara is committed to helping her clients and their families navigate life’s journey with confidence.

Fresia Ortiz, QMHP-T

Fresia believes therapy works best when it feels human — honest, collaborative, and rooted in empathy. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional–Trainee, she strives to create a space where clients feel truly seen and supported as they work through life’s challenges at their own pace.

She’s currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at George Mason University and enjoys working with children, teens, and adults, helping them build self-awareness, emotional expression, and confidence through creativity, reflection, and open conversation. Fresia approaches her work with cultural humility and awareness, recognizing that everyone’s story is shaped by unique experiences, backgrounds, and values.

As a bilingual clinician, Fresia offers services in English and Spanish, and values being able to connect with clients and families in the language that feels most natural to them.
